Peter Scarf
Peter Michael Edward Scarf was born in Sydney on 11 February 1980.
He has an older sister and brother. He says his first career dream was
to be an ice-cream tester but when he was six, he started thinking about
acting.
His first acting experience was a non-speaking role in a school production
of Midsummer Night's Dream. Then, in another school play, he
scored a speaking role but this time he was not seen on stage. His next
play was Two Weeks With The Queen. Peter said, "At last
a role in which I got to be heard and seen on stage".
Peter continued doing drama classes at school and also at the Australian
Theatre for Young People. He began auditioning for professional roles
a number of years ago, and his first television appearance was a small
role in ABC's GP series, which aired in mid-1995.
Just after he had started back at school last year, he won the role
of Liam. He left school but continued his education with the Sydney
Distance School and studied the Year 12 curriculum.
While on Home and Away, his schedule was demanding; despite
this, he still found time to enjoy catching up with his friends and
he also loves most sports, particularly tennis, rollerblading, football,
basketball and swimming.
Peter likes movies; his favourites include Scarface, Ferris
Bueller's Day Off, the Rocky movies, Back To The Future,
Scent of a Woman and Twister.
On music, he says his tastes are wide ranging, but his favourite artists
are Cat Stevens, John Lennon and Michael Jackson.
Peter's first episode was episode 1910, which aired in Australia on
26 April 1996.
